Job summary

Elite Home Health in Florida is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our clinician-owned team. You will provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in their homes under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, following physician orders and the agency plan of care.

The ideal candidate graduates from an accredited PTA program, holds an active Florida PTA license, and maintains CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Active Florida PTA license required
• CPR certification required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Background screening and compliance required
• Home health experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide PTA services under supervision of licensed PT
• Follow physician orders and care plans
• Assist with exercises, gait, balance, and mobility in home settings
• Document progress and visit notes in EMR
• Communicate patient concerns and safety issues promptly
• Participate in care conferences and team meetings
