Job summary

Frederick Fox LLC in Florida is seeking an experienced Permit Coordinator to identify, prepare, submit, and track permits for commercial paving and pavement maintenance projects across the state. You will work closely with project managers, operations, field personnel, subcontractors, and permitting authorities to keep projects on schedule and compliant.

The role requires two or more years of permitting experience, familiarity with Florida processes, and strong organizational and communication

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience in construction permitting or permit coordination.
• Experience with commercial paving or pavement maintenance is a plus.
• Familiarity with Florida permitting processes and portals.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and multi-project management.

Responsibilities

• Research and coordinate permitting requirements across Florida cities and counties.
• Prepare, submit, and track permit applications and approvals.
• Coordinate with municipal departments and regulatory authorities.
• Identify right-of-way, traffic control, signage permit needs.
• Follow up on applications, resolve deficiencies, and communicate delays.
• Maintain accurate permit records and tracking logs.
• Coordinate permitting timelines with project managers and field operations.
• Assist with expedited permitting for emergency projects.
• Proactively address permitting issues to support client experience.
