Starr in Florida is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our footprint with Florida producers, build brand awareness, and develop new revenue opportunities. You will coordinate with profit centers and stress the broker network, while reporting weekly to the Regional Vice President on activity and pipeline.

This role emphasizes strategic relationship building, market insight, and the ability to translate opportunities into growth initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Promote and build brand awareness for Starr across Florida producers and profit centers; engage brokers regularly
• Develop new business relationships and revenue opportunities within the State of Florida
• Serve as Starr marketing representative and coordinate with Subject Matter Experts and RVP as needed
• Solicit new opportunities based on identified targets/appetites of the organization
• Collaborate to cross-sell opportunities originating in Florida throughout the Starr network
• Coordinate and facilitate sessions to highlight meetings, product learning seminars, and key account discussions with brokers
