Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field; professional designation preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in financial lines insurance with underwriting and business development focus.
• Proven leadership experience, including team management and talent development.
• Strong broker relationships and track record of profitable results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead strategy for Financial Lines offerings and ensure alignment with market trends and company objectives.
• Oversee production and underwriting of Financial Lines; set targets and monitor performance for growth.
• Build and maintain broker, client, and partner relationships to expand distribution.
• Provide leadership to Financial Lines staff and foster a high-performance culture.
• Collaborate with senior management on planning, forecasts, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor market developments and regulatory changes; adapt strategies accordingly.
• Represent Starr at industry conferences and events to communicate strengths and vision.
• Drive operational efficiencies and best practices to maximize client satisfaction and profitability.
