Job summary

In Bloom Flowers seeks a dynamic Business Development and Sales Manager to lead a sales team of up to seven. You will drive revenue on the floor, handle high-volume inbound inquiries, and close key floral accounts while mentoring others to exceed targets.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of sales experience with a proven track record of managing a sales team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate a team of up to 7 sales representatives to meet daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Conduct regular performance reviews, script coaching, and pipeline reviews to improve closing ratios.
• Foster a high-energy, collaborative, target-driven sales floor culture.
• Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with funeral directors and corporate clients.
• Identify, pitch and secure new corporate accounts to expand market presence.
• Set and monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas and team metrics.
• Coordinate with marketing, product development, and customer service to address client needs.
• Directly manage high-value inbound inquiries and large event/corporate consultations.
• Close complex or high-revenue floral accounts and ensure recurring revenue from repeat B2B buyers.
• Drive market expansion through localized outreach and digital channels.
• Align sales strategies with seasonal inventory and market trends.
