Job summary

Bloomingdale’s is seeking an Assistant BSM to lead floor presence and drive the customer and colleague experience. You will coach a team to deliver the Bloomingdale’s mission, building client relationships and guiding selling strategies in a dynamic retail environment.

You will oversee merchandising direction, fulfillment accuracy and daily performance metrics, while recruiting, onboarding and developing a team to achieve sales goals and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required; 3-5 years related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities with customers and partners.
• Ability to plan and execute strategies and manage workflow.
• Flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Experience drafting reports and communications for management.

Responsibilities

• Drive and exceed sales goals through coaching and role modeling.
• Lead customer service to create a friendly, easy shopping environment.
• Champion use of selling technology for a seamless experience.
• Build client books and drive outreach to maximize business.
• Direct merchandising execution and maintain floor readiness.
• Oversee fulfillment processes and monitor daily metrics.
• Hire, train, coach and manage about 10 direct reports.
