Job summary

Harris Teeter seeks a Floral Manager to design and arrange live, cut, dried, and artificial florals for events and daily displays. You will process, package, stock, and maintain floral products while delivering outstanding customer service.

This role also involves interviewing and training associates, planning and directing work, coaching performance, addressing complaints, and ensuring safety and quality standards across the floral department.

Qualifications

• Requires strong customer service mindset and clear communication.
• Ability to work with team and train associates.
• Willingness to participate in required training and to train others.
• Experience in a retail floral environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Designs and fashions live, cut, dried, and artificial floral and foliage arrangements for events such as holidays, anniversaries, weddings, parties, and funerals.
• Responsible for processing, packaging, stocking, and maintaining floral products according to standards, cleaning work areas, providing customer service unloading stock, and reloading salvage.
• Interviewing and training associates.
• Planning, assigning, and directing work.
• Assist in appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining associates.
• Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
