Job summary

Harris Teeter in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Floral Department Supervisor to lead daily operations of the floral department, including processing, packaging, stocking, and maintaining products while delivering exceptional customer service. You will supervise up to 10 associates, interview and train staff, plan workloads, and ensure safety and cleanliness.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2–3 years related experience; proficiency with inventory and computer systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and communicate in English.
• Supervisory responsibilities including interviewing and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise up to 10 floral department associates.
• Direct overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the department.
• Interview and train associates; plan workloads and direct work.
• Maintain cleaning and organization of work areas and ensure safety policies.
• Provide excellent customer service and support unloading stock and reloading salvage.
