Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make quick, intelligent decisions.
• Experience in floral production, merchandising and customer service.
• Prior floral department supervision preferred.
• Understanding of department operations and safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relations through friendly leadership and policy adherence.
• Handle customer complaints and maintain a high service level.
• Manage receiving, processing and production of Florist Transworld Delivery orders.
• Coach staff on pricing, markings, rotation, stocking and courtesy.
• Plan and direct activities of the Floral Department.
• Direct receiving, storing, pricing and merchandising of floral products.
• Maintain records and ensure proper house cleaning and orderliness.
• Analyze department performance and suggest improvements to the store manager.
• Supervise and coach direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
