Job summary

ShopRite’s Floral Department in Elmwood Park, NJ is seeking a Floral Manager to direct the Floral Department and supervise its associates. You will focus on sales, customer experience, and department engagement under the Store Manager’s guidance.

You will lead onboarding, training, and performance feedback while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in daily operations, including display, stocking, and promotions. This role requires strong leadership and hands-on collaboration with teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for shifts.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. regularly and up to 60 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and tolerate dust.
• Ability to interact with customers.
• Ability to lead Associates and manage department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all Floral Department functions and associates.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all policies.
• Provide friendly, prompt customer service and assistance.
• Train and onboard new department associates and provide feedback.
• Maintain accurate pricing, labeling, and product display standards.
• Lead department to meet sales, profit, and customer experience targets.
