Qualifications

• At least 16 years of age.
• Ability to work in varied temperature-controlled environments (36-degree cooler).
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Read basic information (policies, procedures).
• Ability to keep work area safe and clean with approved equipment.
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
• Prompt and regular attendance.
• Dress code and personal hygiene standards.
• Work independently.
• Cross training in other departments.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort and rotate cut flowers, bouquets and arrangements.
• Promote merchandise and use suggestive selling to satisfy customers.
• Create corsages, boutonnieres and simple arrangements.
• Operate cash register and computer systems handling all payments.
• Process customer orders for in-store purchases and delivery.
• Convey written orders for designers to ensure accuracy.
• Arrange store merchandise to showcase our floral selection.
• Use equipment like knives, helium tanks, and tools as needed.
• Keep the work area sanitary with approved cleaners.
