American Eagle Outfitters Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Leader in Bakersfield, CA to support the Merchandising Team Leader by ensuring the store aligns with AEO Brand Visual Standards and executes floorsets with precision.

You will train and coach the Floorset team, drive sell-through, and replenish inventory to keep the store guest-ready while maintaining safety and loss-prevention standards. This role emphasizes teamwork and guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail merchandising and floorset execution.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings and weekends.
• Previous retail experience with AE brand preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support driving an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store reflects AEO Brand Standards.
• Lead Floorset execution by training the Floorset team and setting productivity goals.
• Own day-to-day merchandising, sell-through adjustments and replenishment.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain a fresh, guest-ready store environment.
• Foster a culture of recognition and celebrate team wins.
• Maintain store safety and shrink-reduction practices.
