Flooring Service Technician (Tampa/Sarasota Area)

Advanced Systems, Inc. of Suncoast (ASI) is a premier, full-service flooring vendor, servicing the residential, multi-family, and commercial construction industries throughout the greater Tampa Bay and Sarasota/Bradenton areas with all their flooring needs since 1990.

We are currently looking to fill the position of Flooring Service Technician. We seek a highly motivated and energetic individual to grow with us and become a leader in their field. As a Flooring Service Technician, you will perform warranty service and punch-out requests in customers’ homes and businesses for flooring types including tile, wood, and carpet. If you enjoy fast-paced work, have good customer service skills, and are detail-oriented and quality-focused, this is a great opportunity for you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform warranty service requests for all flooring types in customers' homes and businesses.
2. Handle punch-out requests from customers or quality control walks for all flooring types.
3. Manage stock supplies in service vehicles and coordinate reorders with purchasing.
4. Follow up on order issues such as back orders or damaged materials with suppliers and purchasing.
5. Coordinate with team members to meet schedules and deadlines.
6. Complete paperwork accurately and promptly.
7. Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
9. Drive company vehicle to and from jobs, requiring a clean driving record and background check.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of all flooring types (tile, carpet, wood, etc.) and Spanish fluency.

Position Details

• Job Type: Full-time
• Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday
• Location: Tampa office; work area includes Greater Tampa Bay and Sarasota/Bradenton
• Compensation: Negotiable based on experience

Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, reaching, climbing, and being on your feet or driving for extended periods.
