Flooring Service Technician (Tampa/Sarasota Area)

Advanced Systems, Inc. of Suncoast (ASI) is a premier, full-service flooring vendor, servicing the residential, multi-family, and commercial construction industries throughout the greater Tampa Bay and Sarasota/Bradenton areas with all their flooring needs since 1990.

We are currently looking to fill the position of Flooring Service Technician. We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual to grow with us and become a leader in their field. As a Flooring Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing warranty service and punch out requests in customers’ homes and businesses for all aspects of flooring to include tile, wood, and carpet. If you like fast-paced action, have good customer service skills, and are detail and quality oriented, we have a great opportunity for you.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Perform warranty service requests in customers' homes and businesses for all aspects of flooring to include tile, wood, and carpet.
• Perform punchout requests created by customers or from quality control walks for all aspects of flooring to include tile, wood, and carpet.
• Track and maintain stock supplies in service vehicles, work with purchasing on reorders of stock materials.
• Track and follow up on order issues, such as back orders, damaged material, etc. with suppliers and purchasing.
• Work with other team members to assure schedules and deadlines are met.
• Complete all paperwork timely, neatly, and accurately.
• Preserve a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat and organized.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Driving company vehicle to and from jobs; employment requires a clean driving record and background check that will be part of the hiring process.

Position Details

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 7:30-4:30 Monday-Friday.

Please Note: This is a working manual labor job. You must be able to lift 50lbs, bend down, reach, climb, and be on your feet or driving for long periods of time.

Office Location: Tampa

Work Area: Greater Tampa Bay and Sarasota/Bradenton Area

Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
