Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is hiring a Sales Associate for our Countryside, IL store. You will greet customers, help them find products, answer questions, and process transactions on our POS system.

You’ll keep the floor organized, restock shelves, and maintain safety and cleanliness to ensure a welcoming shopping experience. We value enthusiasm, reliability, and strong communication. Full-time and part-time positions available; eligibility includes 18+ and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires successful passing of a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work with management and team to achieve sales goals.
• Process transactions at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges per guidelines.
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Act in line with company values and safety processes.
• Answer telephone per guidelines.
• Assist in other areas as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
