Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking Sales Associates to provide friendly, accurate service on the sales floor and assist customers with product selection. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available, with base pay starting at $15 per hour and higher starting pay based on experience.

You will maintain clean, stocked departments, assist at checkout, and work with the team to meet store sales goals while upholding safety and company values in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Certification to use heavy equipment may be required by state law after drug test.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend our products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work in cooperation with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines.
• Follow established cash, check and credit card acceptance procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Act and work in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
• Demonstrate and understand compliance of the company’s safety processes.
• Answer telephone according to the company guidelines.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast pace environment with accuracy.
