Job summary

Floor & Decor is hiring Sales Associates in Rancho Cordova, CA to deliver friendly, accurate service and help customers find products for their projects. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available, with a pay range of $17.00 to $20.70 per hour.

You will keep the sales floor stocked and safe, greet customers, process transactions at POS, and work with the team to meet sales goals. Benefits include healthcare options, paid time off, and opportunities for advancement in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Certification to use heavy equipment requires passing a drug test where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend our products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work in cooperation with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using point of sale (POS) system.
• Process customer refunds and exchanges according to established guidelines.
• Follow established cash, check and credit card acceptance procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
• Work in a fast pace environment with accuracy.
