Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Sales Associate to provide friendly, accurate service and help customers find products to complete their projects. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available, with base pay from $15.00 per hour and higher starting pay based on experience.

Roles include greeting customers, recommending products, processing checkouts, and assisting in store areas as needed in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment that values teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years or older.
Knowledge of basic math skills.
Customer service experience.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
Forklift certification may be required for some positions.
Drug test may be required for heavy equipment use where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations.
Maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas and ensure it is clean, shoppable and safe.
Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
Process customers at checkout using POS system.
Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
Create price tags and merchandise signs.
Stock, tag and display merchandise.
Demonstrate and understand safety processes.
Answer telephone according to guidelines.
Be available to assist in other areas of the store as needed.
Work in a fast pace environment with accuracy.
