Job summary

Floor & Decor’s Sales Associates deliver friendly, accurate service and help customers find products for their projects. Full-Time and Part-Time positions are available, with base pay starting at $15.00 per hour and higher depending on experience.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, maintaining stocked, clean, and safe sales areas, processing transactions, and supporting team goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Some positions may require forklift certifications through F&D.
• Where permissible by state law, certification to use heavy equipment requires drug test.

Responsibilities

• Connect with customers, ask about their projects, recommend products and excite customers about their purchase.
• Provide above and beyond customer service and exceed customer expectations when assisting customers.
• Maintain in-stock condition of assigned areas; keep it clean, shoppable and safe.
• Work with management and team members to achieve sales goals.
• Process customers at checkout using POS system.
• Process refunds and exchanges according to guidelines.
• Follow cash, check and credit card procedures.
• Create price tags and merchandise signs.
• Stock, tag and display merchandise.
• Act in line with company core values and safety processes.
• Answer telephone per guidelines.
• Be available to assist in other areas as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with accuracy.
