Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart seeks a Flooring Outside Salesperson to grow our builder, designer and commercial client base in the Cedar Park area. You’ll present flooring solutions, manage estimates and coordinate installations with customers.

We value excellent communication, a customer-first mindset, bilingual English/Spanish, and the ability to develop trusted relationships. Full-time with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3–5 years of flooring experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Customer-centric and able to establish rapport with customers.
• English/Spanish bilingual speakers preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Pre-employment screening includes drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop: Grow client base from leads from publications, events, media and online sources.
• Maintain: Work with existing clients and generate new business through various leads and meetings.
• Develop: Build relationships and demonstrate products using displays and presentations.
• Participate: Attend networking events and engage with industry associations.
• Support: Visit clients, coordinate orders and installations, resolve issues promptly.

Do you like improving people’s lifestyle? As NFM’s Flooring Outside Salesperson you will sell products to builders, architects, interior designers, associations, property management, businesses, healthcare facilitates, schools, churches and/or end users.

Job Duties: A Day in the Life

• Develop: Grow client base from sales leads generated from industry publications, trade shows, association events, news media, internet sites and other sources
• Maintain: Work with existing clients and Generates new business through web leads, vendor leads, formal and informal sales meetings at customer home/offices, NFM show room, industry events and other venues
• Develop: Grow strong relationships with clients and demonstrate product using displays, documentation and presentations
• Participate: Partake in networking events, join associations and be proactive in meeting customer needs and providing timely/accurate support
• Support: Regularly visit clients, return phone calls, coordinate orders and installations and take lead in resolving any problems that may arise

• English/Spanish bilingual speakers preferred
