Job summary

Floor Coverings International of Milwaukee North is seeking an Operations Coordinator to ensure a positive customer experience and profitable project execution. This role centers on customer service, communication, problem solving, and organization with technical responsibilities.

The candidate should be fast-paced, detail-oriented, and proactive. The position reports to the warehouse, manages all project steps from order to installation, and requires collaboration with installers and customers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Associates Degree or some college preferred.
• Customer service experience.
• Project management experience.
• Home improvement or flooring sales/installation experience: 1 year (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Oversee flooring projects from start to finish.
• Order all products needed for each project.
• Receive deliveries and operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Organize, label and stage products by job.
• Communicate scope, expectations and compensation with installers.
• Coordinate installation dates with customers and installers.
• Explain installation process and impact on daily life.
• Provide daily installation updates to customers.
• Walk customers through job completion and collect final payment.
• Resolve customer complaints with urgency.
• Ensure changes are reflected in each project invoice.
