+ We are hiring immediately for temporary FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.

+ Location: Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center - 1750 Kernersville Medical Parkway, Kernersville, NC 27284. Note: online applications accepted only.

+ Schedule: Temporary; days and hours may vary. Rotating weekends and holidays. More details upon interview.

+ Requirement: Prior floor technician experience is required.

+ Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining and restoring floors and operating industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and perform procedures like stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate various industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for large floor surface cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
