Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is seeking a Floor Tech in Austin, TX. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour with a night shift from 5:00pm to 1:30am.

Join a team focused on safety, quality, and reliable service in fast-paced environments. Responsibilities include carpet and floor care using prescribed methods, cleaning floors by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, moving light furniture, following safety guidelines, and reporting repairs to supervision.

Qualifications

• One year of floor care experience preferred.
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions (English; some Spanish where required).
• Lift up to 49 pounds; 15–25 pounds for other tasks; good manual dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout as assigned.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using required equipment.
• Clean floors and stairs by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming; move light furniture as needed.
• Follow safety guidelines; report repairs or safety hazards to supervisor.
• Operate janitorial tools and equipment; adhere to chemical handling procedures.
• Follow all company policies and perform other duties as assigned.
