Job summary

Harborview Health Systems is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to clean carpeted and hardwood floors, scrub and wax floors, and maintain hygienic resident areas in a faith-based care environment.

Ideal candidates have housekeeping or custodial experience; healthcare or hospitality exposure is a plus. We offer top pay and a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k), health, dental, vision, PTO, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality setting a plus).
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and procedures is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Clean carpeted and hardwood floors.
• Scrub, polish and wax floors of all types.
• Deep clean resident rooms, common areas, and hallways to maintain a hygienic, presentable environment.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and polish surfaces according to cleaning schedules and protocols.
• Replenish supplies in designated areas (linens, toiletries, cleaning products).
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens per infection control procedures.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
• Duties as assigned.

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician

What You Will Do

• Responsible for cleaning carpeted and hardwood flooring

• Scrubbing polishing and waxing floors of all types

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility hallways to maintain a hygienic, presentable, and comfortable environment
