Job summary

Harborview Health Systems in Florida is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe floors across the facility. You will scrub, polish and wax floors, clean resident rooms and common areas, and ensure a hygienic environment in line with infection control protocols.

Prior housekeeping or custodial experience is preferred, especially in healthcare or hospitality settings. We offer top pay and comprehensive benefits in a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning carpeted and hardwood flooring.
• Scrub, polish and wax floors.
• Deep clean resident rooms, common areas, and hallways.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and polish surfaces.
• Replenish linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies.
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens according to infection control.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns.

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician

What You Will Do

• Responsible for cleaning carpeted and hardwood flooring

• Scrubbing polishing and waxing floors of all types

• Perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility hallways to maintain a hygienic, presentable, and comfortable environment

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces according to cleaning schedules and protocols

• Replenish supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning products in designated areas

• Dispose of trash and soiled linens appropriately and according to infection control procedures

• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department

• Duties as assigned

What You Must Have
