Job summary

Harborview Health Systems is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to maintain clean, safe spaces for residents across our facility. You will be responsible for cleaning carpeted and hardwood floors, scrubbing, polishing, and waxing floors, and performing routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms and common areas.

This role supports infection control and a hygienic, comfortable environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality setting a plus).
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and procedures is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Clean carpeted and hardwood flooring.
• Scrub, polish and wax floors of all types.
• Deep clean resident rooms, common areas, and hallways to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust and polish surfaces per schedules and protocols.
• Replenish supplies in designated areas.
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens following infection control procedures.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department.

What You Will Do
