Job summary

Azalea Health in Augusta, GA is looking for a dedicated Floor Technician to keep patient areas and facilities clean and hygienic. You will scrub, polish, and maintain carpeted and hardwood floors, and perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and hallways.

This role requires prior housekeeping or custodial experience; familiarity with healthcare cleaning protocols is a plus. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeping or custodial experience preferred (healthcare or hospitality setting a plus).
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning tools and procedures is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning carpeted and hardwood flooring.
• Scrubbing, polishing, and waxing floors of all types.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, common areas, and facility hallways to maintain a hygienic, presentable environment.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces according to cleaning schedules and protocols.
• Replenish supplies such as linens, toiletries, and cleaning products in designated areas.
• Dispose of trash and soiled linens appropriately and according to infection control procedures.
• Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to the appropriate department.
• Duties as assigned.
