Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services is hiring Floor Techs in the United States. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour. Shifts run from 5am to 10am.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, carpeting, and stairways, performing stripping and waxing, and adhering to safety guidelines. Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds and read safety documents in English (Spanish where required). Qualifications

• One year of prior floor care experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and chemical safety sheets (English; may be Spanish where state required).
• Use of janitorial tools and equipment; follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairs by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture as needed and follow safety guidelines.
• Report needed repairs or safety hazards to supervisor.
