This full-time, in-person role requires a minimum of 2 years of floor cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, and good time management. Candidates should be able to commute to multiple FL locations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct janitorial services using appropriate equipment to ensure windows and restrooms are well maintained.
• Inspect floors regularly for damage or wear and report issues to management promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Collaborate with the environmental services team to meet cleanliness standards.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and notify management when restocking is necessary.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team in the Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Palm Bay, FL area and surrounding areas. The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of floors in various retail settings. This role requires a strong understanding of floor care techniques, including buffing, stripping, waxing, window cleaning and other janitorial services, as well as a commitment to providing exceptional custodial services. The Floor Technician will play a vital role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for all building occupants.

Job Compensation

$18.00 per hour based on experience, approximately 35+ hours per week.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, approximately 8 hours per day. Shifts may vary based on client needs. Some weekend work may be required.

Drive & Location

Ability to commute: Jacksonville, Tallahassee, and Palm Bay, FL areas. Work location: In person.

• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Minimum of 2 years of floor cleaning experience.

Note

From time to time, you may be asked to provide cleaning services as outlined below: sweeping, mopping, dusting off window sills, vents, wiping down surfaces, window cleaning.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 20+ pounds regularly every day, bend, stretch, stand, climb stairs, climb a ladder, reach, twist, sit, walk, and/or run. Must be comfortable working on feet for entire shift.
