Job summary

Elite Building Services is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain floors across Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Palm Bay, FL. Responsibilities include buffing, stripping, waxing, mopping and janitorial duties to uphold cleanliness and safety in retail environments.

This full-time, in-person role requires a minimum of 2 years of floor cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, and good time management. Candidates should be able to commute to multiple FL locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of floor cleaning experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors monthly, including sweeping and mopping.
• Execute floor care procedures such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Conduct janitorial services using appropriate equipment to ensure windows and restrooms are well maintained.
• Inspect floors regularly for damage or wear and report issues to management promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Collaborate with the environmental services team to meet cleanliness standards.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and notify management when restocking is necessary.
