Job summary

Grosvenor Services in Daytona Beach, FL is seeking a reliable Floor Tech to maintain clean, safe facilities across our client sites. The role requires standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and performing floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing and mopping according to schedules.

Weekend availability is preferred and the position is part-time with 1st and 2nd shifts including weekends.Candidates should have basic English, a high school diploma, and prior floor care experience to join our team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of English language.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Recent experience as a Floor Tech preferably.
• Familiar with all floor care procedures including equipment and products to use.
• Must be able to work the hours as scheduled and have open viability if is need it.
• Must meet all local health regulations. This requirement also includes drug screening, criminal background investigation and reference inquiry.

Responsibilities

• Protect patients and visitors by keeping floors free from harmful microorganisms and by being mindful of slip, trip and fall hazards.
• Followed daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules; cleaned assigned areas including carpeted, slick floor, and cement walkways.
• Provided floor care services such as stripping, waxing, spray buffing, sweeping, and mopping with proper edging.
• Cleaned baseboards, responded to floor care emergencies using proper equipment and universal precautions.
• Lift and move up to 50 pounds; work involves pushing/pulling, bending and reaching.
• Maintain professional appearance and interact positively with supervisor, co-workers and client staff.
• Stay abreast of laws, regulations, policies and best practices; adapt to company changes.

• Provided slick floor services, such as stripping, waxing, spray buffing, sweeping, and mopping, to include proper edging on all floor surfaces
• Cleaned baseboards throughout the facility, responded to floor care emergency calls; such as, spills, body fluids, and markings, using proper equipment to clean area, at all times using universal precautions
• Work involves pulling and pushing, carrying weight up to 50 pounds, twisting, bending and reaching from floor to waist height and from waist to above head.
• Have the ability to maintain a professional and positive appearance and interact positively with supervisor, co-workers and client staff
• Responsible for staying abreast of current laws, regulations, policies, procedures and best practices and adapting to Company and industry changes

Position Requirements
