Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Park, FL is seeking a part-time Floor Tech to support facility cleaning and maintenance during daytime shifts. Responsibilities include adjusting to staff shortages, applying proper PPE, and maintaining both carpeted and hard surfaces per approved procedures.

The role requires English communication, basic computer skills, and knowledge of floor care processes. Candidates should have at least 1 year of floor tech experience and a High School diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field
• Ability to maintain equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition
• Able to communicate in English
• Basic computer skills and to include the use of mouse and keyboard
• Ability to climb and work on a ladder
• Knowledge of floor care maintenance process
• Ability to safely use all equipment related to the care of floor surfaces to include but not limited to commercial rotary machines, auto scrubbers, vacuums and floor burnishers
• Demonstrates knowledge of environmental services equipment and chemicals used in the department
• Ability to assess, correct, and maintain various floor surfaces

Job Description:

Monitors and reports any equipment issues or shortages and stocks supplies.
