Job summary

GDI Services Inc US is seeking a reliable custodian to perform floor cleaning and maintenance in commercial settings. You will operate buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners, and ensure floors are clean, sealed, waxed, and polished. Responsibilities include restroom sanitization and waste disposal while following safety protocols.

Role requires ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects, with strong time management and clear communication to coordinate with the team.

Responsibilities

• Perform floor cleaning and maintenance in commercial settings.
• Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment such as buffers and scrubbers.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt and stains.
• Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors using appropriate products.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment.
• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly.
• Sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies.
• Assist with other custodial duties as assigned.

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday 4:00PM - 12:30AM

Responsibilities:

• Perform floor cleaning and maintenance tasks in commercial settings
• Operate and maintain floor cleaning equipment, such as buffers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove dirt, debris, and stains
• Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors using appropriate cleaning products and techniques
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free environment
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
• Assist with other custodial duties as assigned

Skills:

• Knowledge of different types of flooring materials and appropriate cleaning methods
• Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment effectively and safely
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions for proper floor maintenance
• Strong time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects as required for the job
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members
