Job summary

GDI Services Inc US in Tonawanda, NY is seeking an evening janitorial technician to maintain a clean, safe commercial facility. The role focuses on floor care and general cleaning during a Monday–Friday 5pm–9pm shift.

You will operate floor cleaning equipment such as buffers and scrubbers, work with a team, listen to supervisor requests, and ensure reliable transportation to sites. Steel-toed shoes may be required; hot working conditions may occur.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday (5pm - 9pm)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Strip, seal, wax, and polish floors as needed.
• Cleaning of a commercial building.
• Cleaning restrooms, break rooms, dusting, and trash removal.
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.

Requirements:

• Operate floor cleaning equipment including buffers and scrubbers.
• Experience with cleaning commercial buildings a plus, but not required.
• Must have the ability to work with other crew members.
• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Steel‑toed shoes required when applicable.
• Ability to work in hot conditions.
