Job summary

Confidence Management Solutions is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain floors across nursing homes, senior living facilities, and hospitals in Reading, PA. This full-time role runs 7AM-3PM, with alternating weekends and holidays.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience in environmental services or healthcare. Must be able to operate floor scrubbing machines and buffers; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Nursing home, hospital or healthcare experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing and buffing throughout the facility.
• Operate floor care equipment safely (extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, steam machine).
• Maintain equipment in good condition and store after use.
• Dispose of garbage throughout the facility.
• Perform other duties as needed.

Floor Tech Shifts: 7AM-3PM Day Shift, Alternating Weekends, Holidays.

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is currently recruiting experienced Floor Tech for long term care nursing facility in Reading, PA.

Floor Tech Key Duties

• Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
• Various pieces of equipment are properly and safely operated such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
• Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated locations after each use.
• Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Floor Tech Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
• Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.
• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
