Compensation: $14.00 - $15.50 / hour

Description

Floor Tech & Housekeeping Staff positions available in long‑term care nursing facility in Philadelphia, PA. Provide on‑the‑job training.

Shifts: Day and evening shifts. Alternating weekends and holidays.

Key Duties

As the Housekeeper:

• Maintain proper cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility.
• Dispose of trash, bio‑hazard waste, and other materials.
• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and public areas.
• Perform other job‑related duties as they become required.

As the Laundry Staff:

• Process the linen for the facility and personal residents clothing.
• Operate commercial washers and dryers.
• Perform other job‑related duties as they become required.

As the Floor Tech:

• Maintain all floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
• Utilize and safely operate extractor, auto‑scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side‑to‑side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
• Perform other job‑related duties as they become required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• 1‑year long‑term care, hospital, or healthcare experience preferred.
• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
