Job summary

Confidence Management Solutions (CMS) is hiring Floor Techs for long term care facilities in Reading, PA. Full-time and part-time positions are available, with day shifts (7AM-3PM) and alternating weekends/holidays. Walk-ins welcome; apply in person at Wyomissing Blvd, Reading, PA 19611.

Responsibilities include floor cleaning, waxing, and buffing; operating floor scrubbing machines and buffers; maintaining equipment; and following safety protocols. Nursing facility experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience preferred.
• Prior experience in nursing homes, hospitals or healthcare environments is a plus.
• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain floors by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing.
• Operate floor scrubbing machines and buffers safely.
• Maintain and store equipment after use.
• Dispose of garbage throughout the facility.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.

Floor Tech Key Duties

• Maintain all floors by sweeping mopping, vacuuming, shampooing, stripping, waxing, and buffing throughout the facility.
• Various pieces of equipment are properly and safely operated such as extractor, auto-scraper, high speed buffer, shop vac, side-to-side buffer, vacuum, and steam machine.
• Maintains equipment in good working condition and stores properly in designated locations after each use.
• Dispose of all garbage throughout the facility.
• Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Floor Tech Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Environmental Services or housekeeping experience a plus.
• Prior experience working in a nursing home, hospital or healthcare environment a plus.
• Ability to operate automatic floor scrubbing machines and floor buffers.
