Job summary

Western Dental is seeking a Floor Supervisor to lead back office staff in a California dental practice. You will supervise scheduling, training, and performance, participate in hiring, and ensure patient flow, sterilization and compliance.

The role requires overseeing patient management, coordinating with Dentists, and maintaining treatment records while driving the Ultimate Patient Experience.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team of 8-12 team members.
• Working knowledge of dental equipment and terminology; OSHA safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise back office staff including scheduling, training, performance evaluations and accountability.
• Participate in hiring and retention for back office staff.
• Manage patients by coordinating with Dentists and ensuring patient satisfaction.
• Monitor patient flow and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all back office staff including scheduling, training, performance evaluations and holding staff accountable
• Participate in the hiring, selection and retention for back office staff
• Responsible for Patient management by partnering with Dentists, providing patients with proper pre and post-treatment instructions and ensuring patient satisfaction
• Monitor patient flow by effectively reviewing sign in sheet and appointment book and making necessary adjustments to the schedule
• Responsible for ensuring sterilization of the office and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA, Dental Board, and Corporate policies and procedures
• Conduct all weekly/monthly/quarterly inspections
• Maintain dental supplies and inventory; stock supplies in operatories, restrooms, lab, etc. as needed
• Maintain proper patient treatment records
• Lead, inspire, and motivate back staff
• Participate in monthly operational meetings
• Prioritize UPE (Ultimate Patient Experience)

Qualifications

• xperience supervising a team of 8-12 team members with the ability to demonstrate authority, delegate responsibility and hold a team accountable
• Working knowledge of dental equipment and terminology, OSHA and safety compliance
• Must have a current X-Ray License. (Or an agreement must be signed that the X- Ray license will be obtained within six (6) months of employment)
