Job summary

Western Dental is hiring a Floor Supervisor to lead back-office staff, coordinate scheduling, training, and performance evaluations, and ensure patient satisfaction through strong team leadership.

You will supervise 8–12 team members, manage patient flow, ensure sterilization and compliance with OSHA and Dental Board policies, and participate in monthly operations meetings. A current X-Ray license is required or to be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a team of 8-12 staff with authority and accountability.
• Knowledge of dental equipment and OSHA/safety compliance.
• Current X-Ray license or commitment to obtain it within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise back office staff including scheduling, training and evaluations.
• Participate in hiring and retention of back office staff.
• Manage patient flow and ensure patient satisfaction.
• Ensure sterilization of office and equipment.
• Maintain patient treatment records and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all back office staff including scheduling, training, performance evaluations and holding staff accountable
• Participate in the hiring, selection and retention for back office staff
• Responsible for Patient management by partnering with Dentists, providing patients with proper pre and post-treatment instructions and ensuring patient satisfaction
• Monitor patient flow by effectively reviewing sign in sheet and appointment book and making necessary adjustments to the schedule
• Responsible for ensuring sterilization of the office and equipment
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA, Dental Board, and Corporate policies and procedures
• Conduct all weekly/monthly/quarterly inspections
• Maintain dental supplies and inventory; stock supplies in operatories, restrooms, lab, etc. as needed
• Maintain proper patient treatment records
• Lead, inspire, and motivate back staff
• Participate in monthly operational meetings
• Prioritize UPE (Ultimate Patient Experience)

• Working knowledge of dental equipment and terminology, OSHA and safety compliance
• Must have a current X-Ray License. (Or an agreement must be signed that the X- Ray license will be obtained within six (6) months of employment)
