Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and daily supervision to staff in the department.
• Support and administer operational goals and monitor performance and profit objectives.
• Adhere to scheduling and coordinate scheduling concerns with manager, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Support compliance with departmental budgets.
• Promote and demonstrate superior customer service in accordance with company standards.
• Ensure customer service standards are followed by all team members and address issues as they arise.
• Maintain cost control methods and procedures by monitoring pars and inventory.
• Maintain and develop procedures for food service and inspect menu items for maximum customer satisfaction.
• Follow quality assurance procedures to ensure health department and customer service standards are met.
• Respond to guest needs and report problems to Manager.
• Assist Manager with administrative duties as assigned.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to relay pertinent information.
• Assist in cleaning and resetting F&B out‑of‑house areas during assigned shift.
• Monitor appearance of food/beverage served and communicate deviations per standards.
• Assist in cross‑training team members and reinforce peer support.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and report issues to management.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of departmental and company matters.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) in related field; two years of Food and Beverage experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum two years of previous supervisory experience.
• Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve problems diplomatically.
• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to perform arithmetic calculations and interpret bar graphs.
• Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime as business needs dictate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Starting Salary: $50,000 to $60,000
