Job summary

Clarion Hotel Philadelphia International Airport is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager to oversee daily operations of all F&B outlets, ensuring profitability, quality service, and staff training.

This role requires leadership, strong communication, flexibility to work evenings and weekends, and experience with restaurant/lounge and banquets. The candidate should have degree in hospitality or business and at least two years in F&B management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of food and beverage management experience.
• Experience with Micros POS is a plus.
• TIPS and ServSafe certification.
• Degree in Business or Hospitality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create service standards and manage the day-to-day operations for all F&B outlets, including banquets, restaurant/lounge, and culinary.
• Ensure that all standard operating procedures for revenue and cost control are being followed.
• Implement and ensure compliance with all Food and Beverage standards.
• Recruit, train, and supervise the food and beverage staff on service standards and customer service development.
• Greet customers and oversee actual service on a regular basis to ensure customer satisfaction and consistency of service.
• Review guest satisfaction comments with staff and work towards increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
• Develop and manage the implementation of menus and promotions with the food and beverage team to attract in-house guests and the local community to meet/exceed sales goals and objectives.
• Monitor and take corrective action as necessary to help ensure that budget goals are attained.
• Respond to customer concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
• Collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure proper service to clients during events and meet with group leaders to determine and execute last-minute changes.
• Conduct inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety of all food and beverage outlets.
• Ensure that state, federal, and company regulations are consistently adhered to pertaining to alcoholic beverages and food safety.
