Floor Process Technician - Setup, Data & Support

Job summary

Turbocoating Corp. DBA Lincotek Surface Solutions, a leader in surface treatment within the Lincotek Group, seeks a Process Manufacturing Technician to support on the factory floor.

You will execute production processes, troubleshoot day-to-day issues, collect data, and assist with qualification activities alongside Process Engineers. The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience, strong math and data skills, and proficiency with CAM simulation and GOM/Blue Light Scan.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering, machining, industrial technology, or related field.
• Strong production support mindset with the ability to respond quickly to shop-floor needs.
• Proficient use of CAM simulation, existing program modifications, and recovery programs.
• Experience with GOM/Blue Light Scan and process data collection.
• Strong technical math skills to support machining, coating, masking, tooling, and process operations.
• Ability to interpret drawings/prints and follow approved process documentation.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude/experience.
• Ability to use measuring devices, including calipers and micrometers.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Ability to recognize issues requiring Process Engineer review, approval, validation, or root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary first-level technical support resource for production cells, responding quickly to shop-floor issues.
• Lead on training new operators on equipment operation, work instructions, and defect documentation.
• Document process data and communicate findings to Engineering and Production.
• Execute established process instructions, parameter sheets, and SOPs.
• Provide feedback to engineering for documentation or setup improvements.
• Perform machine setup verification and tooling checks prior to production or qualification runs.
• Operate equipment to evaluate tooling, masking, and program modifications.
• Assist with qualification runs by preparing equipment and collecting KPI data.
• Use GOM/Blue Light Scan and other measuring devices to collect and verify data.
• Support KPI data collection and monthly KPI reporting.
