Job summary

The Nassau Diner is seeking an experienced Floor Manager to join Genesis Hospitality’s Nassau Diner team in New Jersey. This full-time role requires weekday, weekend, and holiday availability and offers competitive pay with benefits.

Responsibilities include supervising front-of-house operations, coordinating reservations, coaching staff, and ensuring health, safety, and service standards are upheld. Training and leadership from the General Manager may be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in front-of-house restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front desk duties and guest service.
• Monitor and maintain inventory pars.
• Ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Manage reservations and call confirmations as needed.
• Record deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
• Coach and support staff to follow policies and guidelines.
• Handle customer requests over the phone and in person.
