Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is hiring a Warehouse Floor Technician in West Jefferson, NC. The role involves floor care tasks such as stripping, waxing, bonnet cleaning, and carpet care, with shifts including days and weekends. Starting pay is $17 per hour, with benefits and opportunities to contribute to workplace safety.

The position requires lifting up to 49 pounds, manual dexterity, and the ability to read safety instructions. Training on KBSPresence is provided where applicable.

Qualifications

• One year of prior floor care experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and read safety documents in English.
• Must be able to work days/nights including weekends.
• Familiarity with janitorial chemicals and equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout.
• Scrub, shine, clean, and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas using appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects as needed, following safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Follow manufacturer specifications for preparing chemicals and using equipment.
