Job summary

SBM is hiring a Floor Technician in Livonia, MI to perform floor care tasks including waxing, stripping, buffing, and related duties following established standards. You will operate cleaning equipment safely, keep the work area clean, and work with teammates to complete assignments while following safety rules. Shifts are Sunday-Wednesday 6:00AM-4:30PM, pay $15.00-$16.00 per hour.

No formal education required; 6 months to 1 year of experience preferred. A valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; 6 months to 1 year experience preferred.
• May require a valid driver’s license.
• Safety and task training certifications may be required.
• Forklift certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Work with team to complete assignments.
• Operate motorized cleaning equipment and maintain area.
• Perform floor care such as waxing, stripping, buffing.
• Present a professional appearance and communicate with customers.
