Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Floor Technician to perform floor care tasks, including waxing, stripping, buffing, and routine cleaning, in accordance with established procedures.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety guidelines, and professional communication with supervisors, customers, and colleagues. Shifts are Mon-Fri, 2:30pm-11:00pm, with hourly pay in the mid-teens.

Qualifications

• No specific education requirement, 6 months to 1 year experience preferred
• Good reading and comprehension of manuals and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, equipment, chemicals and safe use
• Willingness to work with cleaning machinery and PPE
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Perform floor care tasks (waxing, stripping, buffing) according to procedures
• Maintain clean work area and report safety hazards
• Follow all safety rules and company policies
• Work with team to complete assignments on schedule
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment properly
• Assist with shifts and respond to supervision as needed
