Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Front Office Representative to join the Urgent Care team in Mesa, AZ. You will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, guiding visits from check-in to check-out and supporting multiple clinics across Zone 5.

This part-time role requires flexibility to cover two 12-hour shifts weekly, including weekends, with varied scheduling. You will handle calls, verify insurance, collect co-pays, and coordinate with clinical staff to deliver a positive patient

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to multi-task between phone, computer systems, and interruptions.

Responsibilities

• Answer and route incoming calls for front desk operations.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information; collect co-pays when required.
• Schedule appointments and prepare patient referrals to ensure smooth flow of visits.
• Print schedules, charts, and forms for daily operations; support Physicians as needed.
• Assist with patient check-in/out, gather history, and document interactions in records.
