Job summary

Members First Credit Union seeks a Float Member Service Representative I/Teller to deliver exceptional member service across multiple Mid-Michigan branches. You will assist with transactions and provide needs-based recommendations while ensuring security and compliance in every interaction. This in-branch role requires 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m. hours, Monday–Friday, daily branch travel, and occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience operating a personal computer.
Clear and professional communication with members and staff.
Working knowledge of credit union products and services or ability to learn.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite.
Ability to learn credit union systems, products, and procedures.

Responsibilities

Create opportunities to expand member relationships by identifying needs and recommending credit union solutions.
Remind delinquent members of payments in a respectful, professional manner.
Maintain sales and service performance while upholding ethical, inclusive practices.
Process member cash and check transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
Handle inquiries regarding member accounts with accuracy and discretion.
Sell Visa Gift Cards, Travel Cards, cashier’s checks, and money orders.
Assist other departments with clerical duties as needed.
Participate in monthly coaching and growth feedback.
