Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 6 months customer service experience.
• Ability to travel between branches on an as-needed basis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to customer service standards and provide a differentiated experience by understanding customer needs.
• Educate customers through shoulder-to-shoulder digital demonstrations and identify self-service opportunities.
• Engage in lobby management, greet customers, and address immediate needs.
• Accurately balance and process customer transactions following Bank Policy.
• Log and resolve customer complaints and escalate account services issues when needed.
• Transition sales opportunities to banking partners and assist with branch operations (cash orders, vault, ATM, wires).
• Process customer/account maintenance and participate in AML/KYC activities.
• Adhere to compliance and risk controls and support the M&T Bank brand.
