Columbia Bank is seeking a Teller - Float to serve as the first point of contact for clients and to perform teller transactions with accuracy and confidentiality. The role includes traveling within the geographic area to cover branches, balancing the cash drawer, and supporting branch tasks while staying compliant with bank procedures.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of banking or customer service experience; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of banking or customer service experience preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.
• Ability to learn and comply with bank policies, procedures, and systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy with numbers and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform teller transactions and cash handling with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Balance cash drawer and process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, payments, check cashing.
• Process night drop deposits and update lobby rate sheets and brochures.
• Mitigate risk by safekeeping cash and transferring funds as needed.
• Interact with clients to identify needs and refer banking products to appropriate partners.
